Our investment philosophy is guided by the Group’s core values and Code of Conduct, with a focus on environmental stewardship, social responsibility and corporate governance.

Through proactive risk management, stakeholder collaboration and performance-driven asset management, we aim to enhance stewardship and support long-term environmental outcomes. Our commitment to ongoing improvement ensures we deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes for our investors and the communities we serve.

Net Zero Commitment

In line with our parent Mitsubishi Estate Group's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, we benchmark our long-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions against the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM) decarbonization pathway, based on the 1.5°C scenario outlined in the Paris Agreement and have set annual reduction targets based on the group-wide GHG reduction targets which have been approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) in June 2022.

In the interim, MEC Global Partners Asia has a 2030 GHG reduction target of 2.5% per annum for Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions from the Baseline year of 2021.
